Students and faculty gathered together in Sub7 on Thursday for the release of Milligan's annual literary magazine, The Phoenix.
"We had a great turnout this year," said Executive Editor BJ Krug. "Not as big as last year, but I'm very pleased."
Krug took the stage, welcomed the guests and introduced a few of the contributors who read their work from The Phoenix.
The Phoenix contains poems, short stories, photography, paintings, drawings and other creative forms of art and writing submitted from students and faculty. This year's edition contains 12 poems, three pieces of prose, nine photos, two drawings and a print. An additional poem was printed on bookmarks, since the editors regretted that it was left out of the magazine.
Copies of The Phoenix are free and available at the desk in the Welshimer Library.
